High School Scholars Program
(ALMA HSSP)
The ALMA High School Scholars Program (ALMA-HSSP) is designed to connect college students with high school students from the under-resourced Santa Ana community who wish to pursue higher education. ALMA-HSSP in collaboration with GREEN-MPNA to provide mentorship that addresses the students’ needs in high school and ensures a successful transition to college: time management, study skills, writing personal statements, applying for financial aid and scholarships, etc..
Countless underserved high school students are unclear about how to prepare to become strong college applicants. Students and their families encounter additional challenges such as funding university expenses. They are often uninformed about the financial aid options available for their child. We provide these students and their families with knowledge and support through college years.
HOW TO Sign Up:

All meetings are hosted at Madison Elementary School on Saturdays, All programming follows the SAUSD and UC/CSU Calendar.
