GREEN Community Air Monitoring Network
The GREEN Community Air Monitoring (CAM) Network is composed of 7 monitors stationed throughout the City of Santa Ana. Locations were determined based on research needs to identify existing metals and particulate matter (PM) levels near sensitive receptors. Monitors were strategically placed near major freeways, the industrial corridor, and spaces with heavy traffic and truck traffic take place.
Monitoring techniques include real time air quality index (AQI) measurements through our Clarity Node S monitoring devices. A map, data, and additional information can be found below. Other monitoring techniques include air sample analysis for the detection of metals and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). With our partners at Sonoma Technologies and the UCI Don Blake Lab, we have collected samples every six days, following the US EPAs sampling schedule.
