ALMA Parent Workshop

Hello Community members,

This is a friendly reminder that the Dr. Zaldivar ALMA Science Academy will be hosting our parent workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 22nd, at Madison Elementary School from 6 PM- 7:30 PM. This workshop is focused on providing detailed information about the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) letter parents received about the Orange County Data Center, and applying for a permit that would allow them to emit toxins in the air. As well as helping you understand how you can submit comments and concerns to SCAQMD. The more comments SCAQMD receives about this issue, the more attention it will receive and notify them of the needs of the community.

Les recordamos que la Academia Científica ALMA del Dr. Zaldívar celebrará un taller para padres el miércoles 22 de octubre en la escuela primaria Madison, de 6:00 p. m. a 7:30 p. m. Este taller se centra en proporcionar información detallada sobre la carta que los padres recibieron del Distrito de Gestión de la Calidad del Aire de la Costa Sur (SCAQMD) sobre el Centro de Datos del Condado de Orange y la solicitud de un permiso que les permitiría emitir toxinas al aire. Además, les ayudará a comprender cómo pueden enviar comentarios y preocupaciones al SCAQMD. Cuantos más comentarios reciba el SCAQMD sobre este tema, más atención recibirá y les notificará las necesidades de la comunidad.
