UCI Students Partner with MPNA Green on Environmental Justice Work

UC Irvine public health students partnered with MPNA Green to address environmental justice concerns impacting Santa Ana neighborhoods. Through hands-on learning and community engagement, students supported resident-led initiatives focused on air quality, health equity, and environmental awareness.
The partnership reflects MPNA Green’s commitment to collaborative research and education that centers community priorities. By working directly with residents, students gained insight into real-world environmental challenges while contributing to data-driven advocacy efforts that strengthen local capacity and leadership.
