Week 1:
What is S.T.E.M.? Why is STEM important? Working in STEM!
Our scholars built their own bottle rocket to reinforce their understanding of Science. Technology. Engineering. & Mathematics, and why STEM is important.
Week 2 :
Animal (Eukaryotic) and Bacteria (Prokaryotic) Cells
Scholars swabbed different areas of the school with a cotton swab in order to see the levels of bacteria in these common areas. In addition, they also mounted onions onto a slide to observe under the microscope.
